Adventure. Fame. Fortune. Immortality. All Await if you survive the fall.

There's a large rock with a flat surface near the stream and you sit on it to remove your shoes and socks, no point in soaking them just to get across the water. Rain begins to fall, large drops that make it through the canopy above you. The splash down into the water, in the shrubbery, on your head. You roll up your pant legs and dip a tentative tow into the water. It's chilly and goosebumps form on your arms and legs but you step in further. The stream is deeper than it looks and the water soaks the bottom of your pants as it splashes over your knees. The rain begins to fall harder and the current of the stream gets stronger. You're almost halfway across and you're sure you can make it across so you forge on. The water only gets deeper, soaking you to the waist but the rocky bed starts to slope. A large branch floats past as you walk out of the water and you know what follows. If you strain you can hear the crack of trees and rush of coming water. Shoes still in hand you run from the stream's edge and into the forest. Behind you, water floods past at a speed you believe would have been fatal.

You walk past trees and ferns into a forest that quickly breaks again. In front of you is house built into a hill.

Oooh, maybe if I break in, cook, and clean they'll let me stay!

Is that a stable on the side? I'll hide there until the residents come home.
