The berries are ripe and come off the bush with the brush of your hand.
It doesn't take long to fill your apron pocket with them and when you've finished you sit against the trunk of a tree and begin nibbling.
They are sweet, tart, and juicy; nibbling isn't enough.
You eat them two, three, four at time until your pocket is empty and your belly is full.
Exhaustion overcomes you and you drift to sleep leaning against that tree.
