You're not the adventurous type; you don't watch nature shows,
you don't camp, and you certainly don't eat food off the ground, especially if it's still moving.
You do have that granola bar the Kyle tossed at you yesterday to throw out for being expired, that you put in your apron pocket because you were busy steaming milk at the time,
and it's only off by a few weeks.
Those dates are just suggestions, anyway.
You pull it out and examine the swollen wrapper, air pressure differences no doubt, and read the label.
Nuts, berries, seeds, honey.
It's high in protein and has plenty of carbs for energy,
that should hold you over until you find a MacDonald's.
A few bites later you're feeling less hungry, though far from full, and now have an empty, shiny wrapper.
And the sun has set making the forest is pitch black.
It would be best to sleep until dawn.
