The cluster of mushrooms are those bright red mushrooms with the white spots that fairies like to sit on. There are no fairies on these so you pick them, brush the dirt off and pop one in your mouth. It has the same spongy consistency of any mushroom and an earthy type flavor. After swallowing you hold your hand in front of you and see one, flesh colored hand with five fingers. Your mouth isn't burning or swollen and you don't fell like vomiting so you declare them safe to eat and quickly finish of the whole bunch. The hunger now dealt with you realize how exhausted you are. This log is rather comfortable and proceeding in the dark would just be stupid; you'd probably break a leg and then get eaten by a wild beast. Best to stay right here and sleep until dawn.
