You walk to the south and the sound of bubbling water becomes clearer with every step.
Soon you find a stream of fast moving water that bubbles over stones of various sizes, each polished smooth by the rushing water.
Grass, shrubs and trees grow right up to the banks forming a small ledge that over hangs the water's edge.
Piles of dead plant matter and limbs suggest it had recently flooded. It's not very deep and you're willing to bet you
could cross it with no more damage than wet pants. It is flowing from the north-west and heading south east.
The water is clear enough you'd almost consider drinking it. Which way do you chose to go now, fearless adventurer?
I'm going to brave the water.
I believe good luck awaits me upstream.
The water is too clean for their to be life upstream so I shall look for civilization downstream.
I was heading to work, tripped, and fell. Now I'm in a forest.
I'm chilling a moment and examining my head for bumps.
